The oldest stirct metre 'englynion' brought up-to-date, with a valuable introduction. Religious and nature poetry including proverbs are presented, together with 'englynion' linked with myths, in particular the three cycles of myth 'englynion': Canu Llywarch, Canu Urien and Canu Heledd.
